Märt Aro’s involvement in the field of education development dates back to his secondary school years which saw Märt organising educational events for peers on a national level. Märt has specific interest in internationalisation of education, and believes that studying abroad is very important for self-development. Since 2004, Märt has established several organisations and companies in the area of education development. Märt is currently working on DreamApply.com Student Admission Management Platform that he co-founded in 2011. DreamApply is now used by 200+ universities from more than 25 countries in Europe, serving hundreds of thousands of students’ applications a year. Märt’s latest NGO is Nordic EdTech Founders Forum “N8” which brings together founders of education and learning innovation companies and organisations from eight Nordic countries with the aim of sharing experience, supporting each other and fostering cooperation. He also enjoys management consultation, coaching and mentoring on a national and international level.
