Martin Gallagher is an academic and a Programme Director at Woolf, which is building the first blockchain-powered university. He has taught a broad range of subjects in Ancient History, Classical Archaeology and ancient languages while completing his DPhil in Classical Archaeology at the University of Oxford.
Martin has worked in Schools Outreach, an effort to attract disadvantaged students to higher education. He has also worked in Greece to promote cross-cultural understanding through historical education partnering with international financiers, local business leaders, and the Centre for Democracy and Reconciliation in Southeast Europe.
At Woolf, Martin is developing a borderless, blockchain-powered education society, which is meant to bring personal, research-driven teaching at an affordable cost to a much wider constituency of students than the current Higher Education marketplace can serve.
